Storm Mountain Lodge is located just 25 minutes from Banff and offers a quiet romantic retreat.

I fell in love with their historic rustic cozy cabins. The fact that the rooms don't have phones, tv or internet made our stay incredibly relaxing. The food in the lodge is incredible and the service is friendly and not fussy.

They have snowshoes in a little shed that you can borrow during your stay and the most beautiful snowshoe trails through some peaceful forests around the cabins.

The main lodge is a perfect place to curl up with a book, enjoy some wine & cheese, play board games and relax by the fire.

Storm Mountain Lodge can accommodate intimate weddings with up to 40 guests in the winter monthes. I haven't been there in the summer yet but I imagine it would be a great honeymoon destination or the perfect place for a proposal.
