Christina & Malcolm's destination winter wedding at The Banff Springs was magical! Tiny snowflakes fell as they shared their vows, geese could be heard honking their congratulations, a blizzard appeared during photos followed shortly with stunning blue skies and epic mountain views and as we headed to the reception we were greeted by a few wedding sheep! When we stepped into Mount Stephen Hall it felt as though we were stepping into a painting. Stephanie from Julianne Young Weddings had brought the newlyweds vision to life and it was gorgeous aglow in candlelight.

Christina & Malcolm first contacted me in November 2020 and it was obvious in just those few first sentences they shared with me that they were kind & compassionate people with a love for adventure, the mountains and their dog Ollie. I felt a connection with them because their dog Ollie is basically a twin version of our dog Olive.

Stepping into the groomsmen's room I was struck by how kind & close all the friends in that room were. Some of them have been friends since the third grade and they made the journey from Arizona & California to celebrate with Christina and Malcolm in Banff. I have never met a nicer wedding party and it made the day really lovely. Kevin and I left feeling giddy and thankful to have been asked to photograph this big day for them and to have witnessed just how beautifully their wedding day turned out for Christina & Malcolm.

One of the special parts of Christina & Malcolm's ceremony was that it was performed by a dear friend.
