Emerald Lake Elopement Andreina + Evan

September 28, 2019

Andreina & Evan's day was filled with a lot of happy tears, endless laughter and beautiful words. Evan handmade the vow books that they filled with their promises to each other. It was a really touching moment. I loved how much Andreina and Evan took in the beauty of Emerald Lake at every opportunity. It had been raining when we arrived but it cleared just in time for their outdoor ceremony at the viewpoint. The fall colour was stunning and Emerald Lake was vibrant. I love how easily and often Andreina & Evan laugh together.

Evan handmade their vow books that had these amazing handsewn deers on them.

We started our day with a First Look.

Lynn of Lynn Fletcher Weddings helped Andreina get into her dress and got her set up for their first look.

I loved their reaction to being pronounced husband & wife. Evan couldn't stop staring at his new wedding ring.

All wedding dresses should have pockets.

One of the things that I love about Canadian ceremonies is that we sign the marriage licence as part of the ceremony. As opposed to in the States where you typically sign the paperwork as a formality outside of the ceremony itself. I love how exciting it is to see a couple become officially legally Mr & Mrs!

A beautiful elopement cake for 2 by Kake by Darci.

While we were hiking around Emerald Lake taking photos the team from Lynn Fletcher Weddings were busy setting up this romantic sweetheart table for the newlyweds in the lodge. I love that they got to enjoy dinner together while looking out at views of the lake and the mountains.
