Emerald Lake has SO MUCH SNOW! The rooftops looked like Smurf Village. It was absolutely stunning for George & Kelly-Ann's winter elopement at Emerald Lake. These two were so full of joy & gratitude to be marrying each other. They were absolutely giddy and full of giggles. It was such a happy day to get to witness. George wrote a poem for Kelly-Ann that was so personal and sweet and it rhymed perfectly. In all the weddings I have photographed I've never been witness to a groom reading a poem to his bride during the ceremony. It was full of so much adoration for Kelly-Ann. It was a truly special moment. I also liked that he wrote it out on paper so Kelly-Ann can keep that as a memento from their special day.

Kelly-Ann & George got to experience Emerald Lake in fall and see it's emerald coloured water. I loved their nod to Emerald with their socks and footwear. Such a sweet hidden detail.

Emerald Lake Lodge takes care of your elopement details with their in house florist and baker. Kelly-Ann chose stunning flowers. Her bouquet smelled incredible with cedar boughs & eucalyptus.

I loved George's fist pump at being announced husband & wife.
