Penny has brought so much love & affection into our home. This sweet 9 year old senior cat settled in beautifully and quickly cuddled her way into the dog's hearts. Penny wants to be near the dogs and often crawls into their beds to cuddle up. She asks us to put down our laptops and let her purr in our laps. I didn't think that with 3 dogs it was even a possibility to welcome a cat into our lives but when I read Penny's bio on Cochrane Humane's website it mentioned she had previously lived with 4 dogs. One of the things that I appreciate about Cochrane Humane is the care and detail that they put into their adoption bios. Reading Penny's bio really helped us get a feeling that she would fit in and it still reads accurate today. The formerly named "Chubbs" instantly won us over with her affection and gentle spirit. When we return from the dog park Penny will run to the door to greet us, carefully head bopping every dog as they come in. Penny may think she is a dog. She likes to sleep in the dog beds on the floor, drink from the dog water bowl and sleep with her dog roomates. I feel so incredibly grateful that we found Penny. Penny has made life even sweeter with her presence. We are thankful to Cochrane Humane for letting us bring Penny home.
